Falconry with passion
Falconry is an ancient hunting tradition that includes the art of training and caring for birds of prey for hunting and display. It has a long history that dates back to ancient times and is practiced in various cultures around the world.
Our Artfalcons falconry keeps various species of birds of prey such as falcons, eagles, buzzards and owls. We train these birds with great passion to hunt prey, which they then capture for us or for themselves. The relationship between falconer and bird is of great importance, as a close bond is necessary to hunt successfully.
Falconry requires a lot of patience, knowledge and skill to effectively train and care for the birds. All of our birds are registered and kept according to current animal welfare guidelines. Artfalcons is approved for the transport of live animals.
GGonzalo has been a falconer since 1997 and achieved excellent placings in low-level flying at the Balearic Championships - including first place in high-flying in 2009 (Sky Trial).
